Kirsty and the entire Weddings out of Africa team were unbelievable. Residing in the states, planning our wedding from so far away seemed daunting at first but after working with Kirsty it became a dream. From picking out the venue, to the day itself, Kirsty made everything so easy and stress less for not only us but our guest too. Our wedding went flawlessly – everything from the ceremony itself to the food and music — were incredible and unforgettable for everyone. Cape Town and the winelands not only offered us breath taking views and plenty of activities for our friends and family, but the locals truly are one of kind. Everyone we worked with was friendly and worked so hard to make our destination wedding special.

All of the vendors recommended by Kirsty were top notch and world class professionals. We are so happy we made the decision to get married in South Africa.

I’m a South African citizen who married a Colombian, both living abroad. Once we decided to tie the knot, there was quite a hurdle to jump as where we live gay marriage is not allowed and so we wanted to get married in Cape Town, South Africa. So, we took to Google and found an angel called Kirsty, from Weddings out of Africa. You can imagine how hard it is to plan a wedding; now imagine doing it from another country, without meeting the planner, seeing the venue, tasting the food etc.

Thankfully, Kirsty made the whole process such a smooth ride, from start to finish. She sent us all the requirements for our legal marriage, put us in touch with the marriage officer, recommended a whole bunch of amazing venues to choose from as well as top-quality service providers for decor, music, entertainment and the lot! She handles and centralises everything, from communication to payments of the service provider, which made it so much easier with having to do international transfers. And what a pleasure when we finally got to meet her face-to-face. She is such a loving and happy person; definitely someone you want part of your special day. She is calm and cool and very professional.

I would very highly recommend her for any wedding, big or small! Our day was absolutely AMAZING!
